How to upload your mediation brief
Your brief goes to the mediator through the same onboarding link you used for your details. There's no separate portal for it.
1Open your onboarding link
The link in your onboarding email, or the one the mediator sends you if you've lost it.
2Find the brief box
Scroll to the document section. There's a box labelled Brief, with its due date printed underneath. Some mediators call it something else — a mediation statement, a position paper — and the box carries whatever wording they use.
3Drop the file in
Drag the file onto the box, or click browse.
PDF, JPEG, JPG, PNG, XLSX, XLS, CSV, DOC and DOCX are supported, up to 30 MB per file. You can upload up to five files in the box, so a brief plus its exhibits can go in together.
Anything that doesn't belong in the brief itself goes in Additional Documents beside it.
4Submit
Your brief shows on the mediator's case as filed, and the brief reminders stop.
If you'd rather email it
Some mediators prefer briefs by email, particularly when they're confidential to one side. Ask yours. If you email it, they'll mark it received on their side so the system stops chasing you for it.
What the other side can see
Nothing here is shared with the other side. Documents you upload go to the mediator.
