How the Case Manager panel fits with Scale
You and your mediators work in the same case data, from two different apps. Your mediators log into the Scale portal at app.scalemediation.com and see their own practice. You log into the Case Manager panel and see every mediator you're assigned to, in one place. There is one database underneath, so a case booked through a mediator's booking link shows up on your Cases list without anyone copying anything across.
What the panel covers
The left-hand menu is the whole product:
- Dashboard — case, inquiry and fee totals across the panel
- Cases — every case for every mediator you manage
- Billing — every invoice raised on those cases
- Mediators — your roster, and each mediator's numbers
- Inquiries — date requests that haven't become cases yet
- CM Email Templates — the wording of the emails that go to counsel
- Schedule — one mediator's calendar at a time
- Booking Link — a mediator's public booking page, and the availability report
- Signatures — mediation agreements out for signing
- Settings — your own name and phone number
What the panel is scoped to
Everything you see is filtered to the mediators assigned to you. That assignment lives on a roster record that pairs you with each mediator, and it also carries two things worth knowing about now:
- The contact email counsel sees for you on that mediator's cases. It is set
per mediator, not once for your whole account. Nikki Safavi, for example, has a different address on each of her mediators, so counsel writing about a Libby case reaches nikki@libbyadr.com and counsel writing about a Naftel case reaches Nikki@naftelmediations.com.
- Your fee for that mediator. Also per mediator — see
How your case manager fee is calculated.
What stays with the mediator
Some things are the mediator's, not yours, and the panel deliberately won't let you change them:
- Holds. You can place and release holds from an inquiry, but a date already
held shows as locked on the Schedule board and the panel will refuse to change its availability. See How to put a mediation date on hold.
- Rates. A mediator's half-day and full-day rates are set on their own
profile.
- Their own email wording. If a mediator has customised a template, their
version wins over yours. See How to customise the panel's email templates.
