Finding a case on the panel

Walkthrough video — coming soon

Cases lists every mediation for every mediator you manage, whoever booked it and however it came in. It's the screen you live on when counsel calls and asks where something stands.

Searching

The search box matches on case ID, party name or mediator, so "Bramwell", "Castellano" and the case number all get you to the same row.

The date toggle

Mediation Date and Booking Date are two different questions, and the radio pair at the top decides which one the list is sorted and filtered by. Mediation Date is what counsel means when they ask "when is it". Booking Date is what you mean when you're reconciling a month's work. Douchette v. Bayline Apartment Ventures mediates on 30 September 2026 but was booked on 20 May — under one setting it's an autumn case, under the other it's a May case.

Next to it, Upcoming narrows to cases still ahead of today, and Mediator narrows to one mediator.

The tiles

Total Cases, Upcoming Cases and Completed Cases all obey the filters you've set. So does Case Manager Fee, which sums your fee over exactly the cases below — filter to Renee Castellano and the tile shows what her cases alone have earned you.

The status columns

Plaintiff Status and Defendant Status each carry the same three markers as the dashboard: Onboarding, Payment, Brief. Reading across a row tells you in one glance which side is holding a case up.

Opening a case

Click a row to open the case. From there the panel can add or edit parties, upload documents, record that a brief arrived by email, add notes and comments, raise an hourly invoice, cancel the case or move it to another date.
