Your CRM

Walkthrough video — coming soon

The CRM is your record of the attorneys and firms you work with, separate from any one case. It's where you keep track of who to follow up with and how a matter turned out.

The four figures

Total Contacts, Plaintiff Attorneys, Defendant Attorneys and Overdue Tasks. Overdue Tasks counts contacts whose next step is past its date.

Add a contact

Click Add Contact and fill in the name, email, role and phone. You can attach a case name so the contact is tied to a matter.

The table

Contact Name, Email, Role, Case Title and Next Step. Next Step is what keeps the CRM useful: it's the thing you've promised to do and the date you said you'd do it.

Searching

The filter bar above the table takes a free-text Search, a Date Filter and Date Range, and four attributes: Case Outcome, Rating, Likelihood and Role.

Rating and Likelihood are yours to set against a contact — how a matter went, and how likely they are to come back. Filtering on them is how you find the firms worth following up.

Save Search keeps a set of filters so you can come back to it without rebuilding it.

Where contacts come from

Contacts you add here, and contacts tied to a case you've handled. When you take a case off the calendar, the confirmation notes that you can still add its participants to the CRM afterwards.
