Inquiries
An inquiry is a mediation request that hasn't become a booking yet. A firm emails asking about availability in November; you log it, hold the dates, follow up, and either it converts or it doesn't.

The four figures
Total Inquiries, In Progress, Converted and Conversion Rate, each against the date filter and compared with last month. A new account shows zeroes until you log something.

Name and email are required. Everything else is optional: requesting firm, phone, case name, case type, a follow-up date and notes.
Leave the follow-up date blank and it's set for 14 days after you log it. New inquiries start at In Progress.
The table
Inquiry ID, Contact, Case, Firm, Activity, Status, Follow-up, Date Submitted and On Hold Dates.
The three statuses are In Progress, Converted and Not Converted. An inquiry that becomes a booking shows the case it converted into.
Holding dates for an inquiry
On Hold Dates is how you reserve dates for a firm that's deciding. From the inquiry, pick the dates and slots they've asked about and place the holds.
Two things to choose:
- Hold type. The dialog's own wording: a soft hold can be overridden by a confirmed booking.
- Notifications. An on-hold confirmation tells the inquiry contact which dates you're holding. An expiry notice tells them when a hold runs out and the date is released. Both default to on.
Holds have a duration and release themselves when it's up. A held date shows as On Hold on your Schedule, and on your booking link it shows as on hold without saying for whom.
