How your schedule works

Walkthrough video — coming soon

Your schedule is what your booking link offers. Nothing is bookable until you open it, so a new account shows a calendar of Not Available slots and a booking page with no selectable dates.

Schedule in the top navigation.

What you're looking at

Each weekday shows the slots you've configured under Profile → Mediation Time — a morning slot, an afternoon slot and a full-day slot, each with its own start time. Renee Castellano's are 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM Pacific.

The legend across the top reads Booked, Available, On Hold and Not Available, plus a marker for Virtual only dates.

  • Not Available is the default. The date can't be booked.
  • Available is open on your booking link.
  • On Hold is reserved for a firm that asked for it but hasn't booked. Holds come from the Inquiry page — see Inquiries.
  • Booked has a case on it. Click it to go straight to the case.

1Open a single slot

Click a Not Available slot. It flips to Available and appears on your booking link.

If you've connected Google or Outlook, Scale checks that calendar first and tells you when you already have something at that time. It's a warning, not a block — you can open the date anyway. If the calendar check fails for any reason, the slot still opens.

2Open a whole month at once

Open Monthly Availability takes every not-available weekday slot in the month you're looking at and makes it available in one go.

It only touches the month on screen, and only days the calendar is showing. If there's nothing left to open it tells you so and does nothing.

3Share your open dates

Availability Report produces a shareable list of your open dates, for when a firm wants your openings in an email rather than a calendar.

Public notes

Above the calendar is a Public notes panel. A note here is attached to a date range and shown to parties on your booking link. Use it for things a booking attorney needs to know before picking a date.

Weekends

The calendar shows a Saturday or Sunday only when you already have an open or booked slot on that day. Most mediators work weekdays and see a Monday-to-Friday grid. Open Monthly Availability ignores hidden days, so it never opens a weekend by accident.
